PESHAWAR, Aug 02 (APP): The district’s emergency service Rescue 1122 Lakki Marwat safely shifted a total of 648 patients to hospitals during various emergencies over the last month, said its spokesman.
Giving details, he also said that out of the total 11085 calls, Rescue 1122 received in July, 6051 were irrelevant or fake calls.
During this period he said, the district emergency services efficiently tackled different kinds of emergencies including 538 medical, 54 road traffic accidents, six fire eruptions, 36 bullet injuries or fights, and emergencies were recovery-related.
During these emergencies, eight patients died on the spot and 648 people were shifted to hospitals while providing them prompt first medical aid and other medical facilities.
In July, the rescue 1122 teams also shifted 106 patients to hospitals within the district during 262 various emergencies.
Similarly, 156 patients were shifted from one district to another district for medical treatment and in total 273 patients benefited from referral services of rescue 1122.
