RAWALPINDI, Jun 28 (APP):Rescue 1122 Rawalpindi issued a public safety advisory on Saturday, urging residents to take necessary precautions during the ongoing monsoon season to minimize the risk of property damage, road accidents and drowning incidents.
The advisory emphasizes that citizens must remain vigilant, especially those living near nullahs and low-lying areas, as heavy rainfall poses increased risks of flooding and electrocution. Parents have been specifically warned not to allow children near nullah Leh or electricity poles under any circumstances.
Drivers have been advised to reduce speed during rain to avoid road accidents.

Rescue 1122 official stated that all field staff remain fully active and prepared to respond to emergencies. “In case of any emergency, citizens should immediately contact the Rescue Helpline 1122,” the advisory stated.
