Dera Ismail Khan, Jul 10 (APP):The District Emergency Service Rescue 1122 DIKhan has completed its preparations to provide facilities to mourners and canceled all kinds of leaves of its personnel during Muharram-ul-Haram, Media Coordinator Rescue 1122 Aizaz Mahmood informed on Wednesday.
On the directives of Director General Rescue 1122 Dr. Ayaz Khan and Regional Director Operations South Imran Khan Yousafzai, an important meeting regarding Muharram ul Haram was held at the district office of Rescue 1122, with District Emergency Officer Engineer Faseehullah Khan in the Chair. The meeting was attended by Emergency Officer Naumanullah Marwat, Control Room In-charge, Transport and Maintenance In-charge and all station in-charges and shift-in-charges.
Speaking on this occasion, Faseehullah Khan said that all kinds of leaves had been canceled for all rescue personnel during Muharram as the Rescue 1122 service would remain on high alert across the district for 24 hours. He said that Rescue 1122 had made comprehensive arrangements to facilitate citizens and provide prompt services in case of emergency during Muharram.
The Rescue 1122 teams along with ambulances have been deployed in all Tehsils of Dera Ismail Khan including Dera, Paharpur, Paroa and Kulachi which will remain ready all the time to deal with any emergency situation, he told.
District Emergency Officer has issued special directives to rescuers to remain alert to effectively tackle any emergency. As part of the plan, the emergency service has put the emergency response teams, including firefighters, rescue personnel, and recovery equipment and ambulances positioned in readiness to ensure prompt response in case of emergency.
Engineer Faseeh further added that in case of signal shutdown during Muharram, emergency WhatsApp numbers would also be shared in the interest of the public, through which the public can contact through Internet and can benefit from the services of Rescue1122. He appealed to the public to fully cooperate with Rescue 1122, police and all government personnel on duty during Muharram in order to avoid any kind of emergency situation.
