Rescue 1122 Abbottabad issues monthly performance report for November 25

ABBOTTABAD, Dec 01 (APP):District Emergency Officer Jan Muhammad Afridi has released the monthly performance report for November, stating that Rescue 1122 Abbottabad responded to a total of 478 emergencies during the month.
 According to the report, Rescue 1122 received 33,503 calls, of which 29,945 were unnecessary while 3,223 were dropped calls.
Under the directives of Director General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tyeb Abdullah and Regional Director Operations North Arshad Iqbal, Rescue 1122 Abbottabad, operating under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Jan Muhammad Afridi, continued to provide timely and professional assistance to citizens facing various life-threatening situations.
Spokesperson Sajid Iqbal said the service maintained an average response time of seven minutes, offering prompt emergency care to 478 individuals.
The report further states that during the month of November, 51 road traffic accidents, 359 medical emergencies, 30 fire incidents and 32 other emergencies, including recovery operations, were handled.
 A total of eight people lost their lives in different incidents, while 478 individuals were affected overall.
Out of these, 421 were provided first aid and shifted to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
The report also highlights the performance of the Referral Ambulance Service, which responded to 147 calls during November.
Among these, 13 emergency transfers were made to hospitals outside the district, while 134 patients were shifted between different hospitals within Abbottabad, ensuring safe and timely medical transportation.
