ATTOCK, Dec 17 (APP): Rescue 1122 has formally launched the registration process of private ambulances across Attock district to ensure the provision of safe, standardized, and lawful ambulance services to the public.
District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122, Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq, said, while exclusively talking to APP on Wednesday that transporting patients in unregistered ambulances is illegal and poses serious risks to human lives. He strictly advised the public not to use unregistered private ambulances for patient transportation.
He further stated that during routine inspections, unregistered ambulances will be sealed, and legal action will be initiated against their owners. To make the registration process more effective, Rescue 1122 teams are maintaining strict field monitoring throughout the district.
On this occasion, Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq distributed registration certificates among the owners of private ambulances registered with Rescue 1122 and directed them to strictly comply with all laws and safety protocols while serving the public.
