RAWALPINDI, Sep 11 (APP): Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on directives Director General (DG), Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa on Monday issued a show cause notice to a private marketing company namely Parwaz Marketing for running a social media campaign of an illegal housing scheme ‘Ruden Enclave’ at Mauza Badyal and Dhala Khasala on Adiala Road.
According to a RDA spokesman, the Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate RDA issued show cause notice to the marketing company for violating the rules and running an illegal campaign.
The DG taking notice of the violation, advised the citizens not to invest in private housing projects, he said adding, that the owners of the illegal housing scheme namely Ruden Enclave had announced balloting of the plots on September 16.
He said that the DG had directed the RDA enforcement squad to take strict action against the violators and remain present at the site on the balloting date to take action in accordance with the law.
The DG had also directed the MP&TE Directorate to take strict action against illegal advertisements and marketing of illegal housing schemes, he added.
