RAWALPINDI, Nov 18 (APP): A high-level delegation from the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), led by President Usman Shaukat and Group Leader Sohail Altaf, visited the Embassy of Uzbekistan and held talks with Ambassador Alisher Tukhtaev.
During the meeting, President Usman Shaukat thanked the Ambassador and his team for their extensive support in organizing RCCI’s Business Opportunity Conference and International Achievement Awards, which was held in Tashkent earlier this month.
He highlighted that the Embassy’s facilitation and warm hospitality were instrumental in the events’ success and in strengthening bilateral trade ties between Pakistan and Uzbekistan, while opening new opportunities for business collaboration.
Both sides expressed commitment to further enhance economic cooperation and people-to-people contacts in the coming months.
The delegation included Senior Vice President Khalid Farooq Qazi, Vice President Fahad Barlas, former presidents Jalil Malik and Zahid Latif Khan (Chairman IAA), former Vice President Shahraiz A. Malik, and Senior Vice Chairman IAA Usman Ayub.
