RAWALPINDI, Aug 25 (APP):The first Test cricket match between Pakistan and Bangladesh concluded successfully at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Sunday, thanks to the effective security and traffic arrangements made by the Rawalpindi Police.
A total of 4,500 police officers and personnel were deployed to maintain law and order and ensure the safety of the event.
Senior officials, including Regional Police Officer Babar Sarfraz Alpa, City Police Officer Syed Khalid Hamdani, and SSP Operations Flight Lieutenant (R) Hafiz Kamran Asghar, supervised the security arrangements.
In addition to the security teams, over 350 officers were tasked with managing traffic, ensuring clear and accessible roads for cricket fans. Senior officers, including the Chief Traffic Officer, SP Security, and Divisional SP, were also present to oversee the arrangements.
The smooth coordination and presence of officials contributed to the event’s success. City Police Officer Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani expressed gratitude to all officers and personnel for their hard work and dedication.
