RAWALPINDI, Jul 31 (APP): The Rawalpindi Police on Thursday conducted search operations in different areas to register the details of houses, shops, hotels and individuals.
The search operations carried on the instructions of City Police Officer Syed Khalid Hamdani were aimed at rooting out criminal elements, the police spokesman said.
The details of 184 houses, 124 shopkeepers, 02 hotels and more than 300 individuals were registered in the operations.
Local police, Elite force, woman police and other law enforcement agencies participated in the operations conducted in the areas of Civil Lines, R A Bazaar, Waris Khan, Ratta Amral, Kahuta, Mandra, Chauntra, Jatli, Dhamial and Rawat police stations.
The spokesman said the search operations would continue under the National Action Plan.
