RAWALPINDI, Jan 10 (APP):The Rawalpindi Police on Friday held some 27 law breakers, including illegal arms owners, kite sellers and the Tenancy Act violators.
According to a police spokesman, a total of five suspects were held on the recovery of illegal weapons and ammunition. The Airport Police recovered a 30 bore pistol from accused Imad while the Taxila Police nabbed Allah Ditta and Muhammad Hassan on the recovery of a 30-bore pistol each from them.
Likewise, the Gujar Khan Police recovered a 223 bore rifle from accused Mukhtar while the Jatli Police held Shehryar Ahmed with a 30 bore pistol.
Similarly, 20 accused were arrested for violation of the Tenancy Act during search operations in different areas. The arrested accused included Asif, Shamoon, Waqar Ahmed, Shan Hussain, Tahir, Imran, Fazal Khaliq, Ijaz, Zawar, Ishaq, Afaq, Sajid, Haider, Zubair, Adil, Jahanzeb, Sadaqat, Sher Ali, Rehmatullah and Hamid.
Meanwhile, the Wah Saddar Police held accused Aziz with 50 kites and Usman Azam with 45 kites.
