RAWALPINDI, Nov 06 (APP): The Rawalpindi Police, in multiple operations across the district, arrested 13 individuals and recovered over 50 litres of liquor, weapons with ammunition, and stolen property.
According to a police spokesman on Thursday, the Ganjmandi Police apprehended one person and recovered 15 litres of liquor.
The City Police also arrested four individuals and seized 10 litres and four bottles of liquor, while the Chaklala Police recovered 10 litres from one person. The Bani Police also recovered 10 litres of liquor from another suspect.
Likewise, the Newtown Police arrested two persons, recovering five litres of liquor along with weapons and ammunition, and Nasirabad Police seized weapons and ammunition from two suspects.
The Saddar Wah Police arrested a liquor supplier, recovering 80 bottles of the commodity.
Meanwhile, the Newtown Police also apprehended a suspect involved in street crimes and thefts, recovering two stolen mobile phones and Rs 4,000 in cash.
