NOWSHERA VIRKAN, Mar 2 (APP):The distribution of ration cards to eligible beneficiaries is underway under the supervision of the Assistant Commissioner, in line with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision and announcement to provide financial assistance to low-income families.
According to officials, eligible individuals were being provided with ration cards carrying financial support worth Rs10,000. Assistant Commissioner Nowshera Virkan, Saadia Jamal was overseeing the distribution process to ensure the procedure on merit .
Speaking on the occasion, the assistant commissioner said the initiative reflected the chief minister’s commitment to public welfare and added that ration cards would be delivered strictly to the deserving people.
