KARACHI, Jun 12 (APP):Pakistan Rangers Sindh and Police in a joint intelligence based operation in Malir arrested a suspect involved in the trade of illegal weapons.
According to a spokesperson for the Rangers on Thursday, the suspect, identified as Abdullah, was found in possession of a large cache of illegal automatic firearms and ammunition.
During the raid, authorities recovered three 222 bore rifles with magazines, one 223 bore rifle with two magazines, one 12-bore rifle with three magazines, a total of 972 rounds of ammunition, two telescopic sights, and a mobile phone.
During initial investigations the accused confessed to his involvement in the illegal buying and selling of weapons.
The arrested suspect, along with the seized arms and ammunition, has been handed over to police for further legal action.
