SIALKOT, Jun 11 (APP):Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora visited Sialkot where he called on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Hina Arshad Warraich at her residence to congratulate her on winning the PP-52 by-election with a significant majority.
He presented her with a bouquet and traditional sweets. Arora said that Hina Warraich’s victory is a testament to the public’s trust in the leadership of the PML-N. He praised her for carrying forward the legacy of public service left by her late father, Arshad Warraich. The minister added that inclusion of another female member in the Punjab Assembly would strengthen effective representation of women’s rights in the house.
Newly-elected MPA Hina Warraich expressed her gratitude and said she would strive to live up to the expectations of the party leadership and supporters.
She also thanked the minority community in her constituency for placing their trust in her by casting their votes.
Later, Provincial Minister Ramesh Arora visited the residence of MPA Chaudhry Faisal Ikram to offer condolences on the passing of his father, Chaudhry Muhammad Ikram. He paid tribute to the late Chaudhry Muhammad Ikram for his dedicated services to the PML-N.
