QUETTA, May 8 (APP):Balochistan Minister for Education, Raheela Durrani, emphasized that climate change has become a global challenge, with its impacts increasingly visible across the country, including Balochistan, stressing the importance of raising awareness among the younger generation about environmental protection and the promotion of tree planting.
Minister Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani visited the Girls College on Quarry Road, Quetta, and attended a special event focused on climate change and a vibrant flower exhibition as the chief guest.
During the ceremony, students showcased a variety of colorful flowers, decorative plants, and creatively designed pots. A dedicated flower exhibition drew admiration from participants, who praised the students’ artistic talent and environmental awareness.
The event also included detailed discussions on rising temperatures, environmental pollution, and the risks posed by climate change. Minister Raheela Durrani congratulated College Principal Farukh Bashir and the administration for organizing the exhibition and distributed certificates of appreciation to students who demonstrated outstanding creativity.
