QUETTA, Jun 16 (APP):The Commissioner Quetta Division, Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat, has assured the public that the district administration is actively addressing the temporary fuel shortage in the city. He urged citizens to remain calm and avoid panic, stating that the situation is under control and will soon return to normal.
In a statement issued here on Monday, Commissioner Shafqaat said, “The fuel shortage is temporary, and the administration is fully mobilized to resolve it. We request the public to refrain from unnecessary panic buying, as it only worsens the situation.”
Hamza emphasized that the supply of quality and genuine petrol is being ensured at all authorized fuel stations. “many pumps have already received an adequate supply of fuel, and other petrol stations will also be restocked shortly,” he added.
Commenting on the rumors surrounding the fuel situation, Commissioner Shafqaat said that certain elements are spreading false propaganda to create artificial panic. “We are closely monitoring these activities, and action is being taken to curb such misinformation,” he warned.
He expressed confidence that the issue would be resolved soon and reiterated the administration’s commitment to ensuring the continuous supply of essential commodities, including fuel.
