RAWALPINDI, Sep 25 (APP):Provincial Transport Minister Punjab Ibrahim Murad along with Commissioner Rawalpindi Liaquat Ali Chatta here on Monday visited Sixth Road Metro Bus Station and inspected different parts of the station.
Talking to media, the minister said that unfortunately, the public welfare projects were damaged during protests.
More than 100,000 people benefit from the metro bus service daily, he said adding, the loss of the metro station is actually loss of people. The repair work would cost around Rs 150 million, he added.
The repair work of the metro station would be completed soon, the Minister informed.
The Sixth Road Metro Bus Station would be partially functional in a month, the Commissioner said.
The work would be completed in three months, Liaquat Ali Chatta informed.
