LAHORE, Sep 25 (APP):Punjab Job Center and the Sargodha Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) have extended their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen industry linkages and generating greater employment opportunities for both job seekers and employers.
The MoU was signed by PITB Senior Program Manager Shamsul Islam on behalf of Punjab Job Center and SCCI President Khawaja Yasir Qayyum, says a press release issued here on Thursday.
Punjab Job Center, a flagship initiative of the Punjab Labour & Human Resource Department, is being implemented by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and the Directorate General of Labour Welfare. The initiative is designed to streamline the job market by linking employers with a diverse pool of job seekers across the province.
As part of the MoU extension, an awareness session was also held to highlight the scope, benefits, and opportunities offered by Punjab Job Center for industries and job seekers alike. In his message, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf stated, “Punjab Job Center is playing a vital role in bridging the gap between industry and workforce by providing a reliable and technology-driven platform for employment. The extension of this MoU with SCCI will further enhance opportunities for our youth and ensure that industries in Punjab are better connected with skilled human resources.”
