LAHORE, Jul 26 (APP):Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora on Friday met with Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, Malik Ahmad Khan.
They discussed various programs to be held in connection with International Day of Religious Minorities on August 11. Both leaders emphasized that protecting the rights and welfare of religious minorities is a top priority of the government. Minister Ramesh Singh Arora mentioned that on August 11, various events and programs would be organized to empower minority communities socially and economically.
Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Ahmad Khan stated that the Punjab government is taking all possible measures to protect the rights of religious minorities, and the programs to be held on August 11 will be a practical demonstration of this commitment.
The meeting also included detailed discussions on organizing various cultural, educational, and social programs, with a determination to ensure their success. Ramesh Singh Arora stressed that the Punjab government is working in full cooperation and harmony with minority communities and will take every possible step for their development and prosperity.
