LAHORE, Mar 02 (APP): The Punjab government has decided to fill vacant posts in the Prisons department.
According to official sources, it has been decided to fill 171 posts of Grade 12 Junior Computer Operator in the department.
The Punjab government has approved the summary sent by the Punjab Home Department, while the recruitment for these posts will be done through the Punjab Public Service Commission.
The PPSC will soon issue an advertisement for the recruitment of Junior Computer Operator, while the selection of candidates will be made after a written examination and other stages. The recruitment process will be transparent and purely merit-based, and applications will be submitted online through the PPSC website.
The new recruitment is aimed at improving IT services in prisons.
