Punjab govt committed to provide advance medical facilities to people: DC

Sargodha, Jul 28 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Sargodha, Captain (R) Muhammad Wasim, on Monday said that Punjab government is committed to provide best and advance medical facilities to the public.
He said this while chairing a meeting to discuss the improvement of medical facilities at Dr. Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital. The meeting was attended by XEN Buildings Bader Sultan, XEN FESCO, Medical Superintendent Dr. Sohail Tariq, and Director Development Mehtab Yasin.
The meeting deliberated on the establishment of a new medical store within the hospital premises.
During the meeting, the construction of a modern CT scan room was discussed to enhance diagnostic capabilities. The installation of a new 400 KVA transformer was emphasized to ensure a continuous and uninterrupted oxygen gas supply.
The meeting reviewed the hospital’s technical and infrastructure issues, agreeing on immediate solutions.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the completion of all technical formalities for the CT scan room’s construction and oxygen gas supply.
FESCO authorities were instructed to prioritize the installation of the 400 KVA transformer to ensure an uninterrupted power supply for medical equipment.
Director Development Mehtab Yasin briefed on development projects, highlighting the impact of the medical store and other facilities on hospital performance.
MS Dr. Sohail Tariq discussed the challenges faced by the hospital.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for coordination among all departments to complete projects on time.
All stakeholders were directed to ensure timely completion of projects.
