CHINIOT, Oct 29 (APP):A hotel in Bhuwana was sealed by the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) for serious law violations on Wednesday, led by Deputy Director Operations Dr. Muhammad Qasim Raza. The inspection revealed poor cleanliness and storage arrangements, with workers lacking medical screening certificates. The hotel was fined Rs 58,000 for non-compliance with instructions.
Over one kilogram of expired products from grocery stores were recovered and destroyed during the inspection. Additionally, more than 50 liters of adulterated milk were destroyed due to failed milk sample tests from milk trucks.
The PFA’s decisive action reflects its zero-tolerance policy towards food adulteration, ensuring public health and safety in Chiniot.
