LAHORE, Oct 16 (APP): The Punjab Counter Narcotics Force (CNF) carried out a series of successful operations across the province in the past 24 hours, resulting in the seizure of significant quantities of narcotics and the arrest of three suspects, including two women.
According to a spokesperson for the CNF, operations conducted in Gujranwala, Rawalpindi and Dera Ghazi Khan led to the recovery of 4.4-kg hashish, 2.2-kg opium, and 1.2 kilograms of weed. The operations were part of the force’s ongoing campaign against drug trafficking and smuggling.
The spokesperson reiterated that the CNF’s mission goes beyond seizures and arrests, aiming to protect the youth from drug abuse and contribute to the creation of a drug-free society. He affirmed that there would be no leniency towards drug offenders or their facilitators.
