LAHORE, Oct 15 (APP):The Punjab Counter Narcotics Force (CNF) conducted successful operations in Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Gujranwala and Dera Ghazi Khan, arresting four suspects and recovering a significant quantity of narcotics from their possession.
According to a CNF spokesperson on Wednesday, the operations were conducted under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s initiative, “Drug-Free Punjab.” During the past three days, the force seized 3.6 kilograms of hashish, 2.5 kilograms of crystal meth (Ice), 663 grams of heroin, and 300 grams of opium.
The spokesperson said that CNF is implementing a zero-tolerance policy against drug trafficking and will continue intelligence-based operations until all smuggling networks are eliminated.
The force reaffirmed its commitment to creating a drug-free, safe, and healthy Punjab through continued and effective enforcement measures.
