QUETTA, Jun 19 (APP):Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Mir Sarfraz Bugti has underscored the vital role of community involvement in education and social development, describing it as a guarantee of sustainable progress. He made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation led by Sardar Ahmed Khan Ghaibzai, a prominent tribal and social leader from Gulistan.
The delegation briefed the Chief Minister on grassroots initiatives currently underway in Gulistan to promote education and improve social welfare. They highlighted non-governmental efforts at the local level, aimed at expanding learning opportunities and strengthening community structures.
Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti expressed satisfaction with the progress achieved through community partnerships, noting that such efforts complement government programs. “Private and community-led initiatives in education and social development are not only commendable but also provide the foundation for sustainable growth when combined with government institutions,” he said.
He assured the delegation that the provincial government would continue to encourage and support all constructive measures. Bugti emphasized that the Gulistan model of community participation in education should be replicated across other regions of Balochistan to ensure equal access to learning opportunities for all citizens.
Reiterating his government’s priorities, CM Sarfraz Bugti said that improving educational institutions, providing basic facilities, and raising the quality of education remain top objectives. He added that public participation in education and social services would make development more effective and contribute to building a strong, self-reliant, and enlightened society.
