HARIPUR, Dec 09 (APP):Commissioner Hazara Fayaz Ali Shah has said that providing maximum convenience to citizens is the foremost priority and that any mismanagement, negligence, or delay in public service delivery will not be accepted.
He made these remarks during his surprise visit to the Service Delivery Centers in Haripur and Khanpur on Tuesday.
Commissioner Hazara Division Fayaz Ali Shah paid an unannounced visit to the Service Delivery Centers in Haripur and Khanpur, where he conducted a detailed inspection of public facilities, cleanliness standards, record management, CCTV functioning, staff attendance, and the complaint-resolution system. Deputy Commissioner Haripur Waseem Ahmed and other concerned officers were also present during the visit.
The Commissioner emphasized that Service Delivery Centers are a vital pillar of the provincial government’s public service structure and must deliver services with respect, transparency, and efficiency.
He directed that overall cleanliness be ensured, toilets remain clean and functional with uninterrupted water supply, and official notified rate lists be displayed prominently for public awareness.
He further instructed that record rooms be kept safe, organized, and strictly inaccessible to unauthorized individuals.
In addition, he ordered improvements in CCTV monitoring, the token system, seating arrangements, shade, drinking water, and other public-use facilities.
Commissioner Fayaz Ali Shah also directed the immediate completion of all pending cases related to property documents, mutations, and verifications.
He stressed that staff must deal politely with the public, resolve their legitimate matters promptly, and warned that strict disciplinary action will be taken on any complaint of misconduct or negligence.
