LAHORE, Oct 15 (APP):The Punjab University (PU) and University of Engineering and Technology (UET) on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic collaboration, promote research partnerships, and foster innovation for national development.
The MoU signing ceremony was held at the committee room of the PU Vice Chancellor’s Office. PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali, UET Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Shahid Munir, PU Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood, and other senior officials attended the ceremony.
Under the agreement, both institutions will collaborate in academic and research activities by sharing and utilizing products, technologies, and materials developed by their faculty, researchers, and students. The partnership will focus on academic excellence, innovation, and resource optimization without any commercial motive.
The MoU aims to facilitate the exchange of specialized research products for academic and developmental purposes, promote interdisciplinary research, and strengthen institutional linkages between PU and UET.
On the occasion, the vice chancellors termed the MoU a significant step toward enhancing the quality of research and innovation in higher education and contributing to Pakistan’s scientific and technological advancement.
