LAHORE, Feb 24 (APP):The Punjab University (PU) Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), in collaboration with the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC), will organize the 11th Invention to Innovation Summit 2026 under the banner of PINTECH Expo 2026 on April 1–2, 2026.
According to a spokesperson, the two-day summit, scheduled from 9am to 5pm, aims to bridge the gap between academia, industry, and entrepreneurs by transforming research ideas into market-ready innovations. It will provide a dynamic platform for researchers, startups, investors, and industrial partners to showcase inventions, explore strategic collaborations, and promote commercialization of indigenous technologies.
The summit will feature poster and oral presentations, interactive sessions, and technology exhibitions across diverse thematic areas, including: Food, Agriculture & Livestock, IT & Engineering, Health & Life Sciences, Chemicals & Materials, Arts & Social Sciences, Water, Energy & Sustainability, as well as promotional and industrial stalls.
The initiative seeks to strengthen industry–academia linkages, highlight commercialization opportunities, and support Pakistan’s transition toward a knowledge-based, innovation-driven economy. Registration is now open for researchers and innovators for poster and oral presentations. Organizations and companies are invited to participate in the exhibition to showcase their products, technologies, and services to a wide spectrum of stakeholders.
