LAHORE, Feb 04 (APP): The Faculty of Computing and Information Technology (FCIT) at the University of the Punjab organized the 15th Career Fair 2026, providing a platform for graduating students to engage with leading industry employers, here on Wednesday.
Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood, Vice Chairman P@SHA Raheel Iqbal, CEO Tkxel Umair Javaid, CEO BrainX Junaid A. Qureshi, Asad Mehmood from Ozi Technology, COO Tiksom Mr Muhammad Junaid Butt, along with eminent academicians, industry leaders, faculty members, and students attended the event.
Addressing the participants, Prof Dr Muhammad Ali emphasized the significance of strengthening academia–industry linkages to equip graduates for the rapidly evolving technology sector. He noted that the career fair would particularly benefit students of BS Computer Science, BS Software Engineering, BS Information Technology, and BS Data Science programs.
Around 500 graduating students, including participants from Punjab University’s Jhelum Campus, attended the fair. Over 60 reputed companies, including leading software houses and corporate organizations, registered as recruiters, offering opportunities for employment, internships, professional networking, and industry engagement.
