LAHORE, Nov 02 (APP): Pakistan Tea Association (PTA) on Sunday hosted a high tea reception in honour of Chief Collector Customs (Exports) Muhammad Sadiq to acknowledge his outstanding services and unwavering commitment to facilitating exporters through progressive reforms and efficient service delivery.
In his remarks, Chief Collector Muhammad Sadiq expressed gratitude for the recognition and reaffirmed his resolve to continue supporting trade facilitation through transparent and business-friendly customs policies. He emphasized that close collaboration between the Customs Department and exporters was vital to strengthening Pakistan’s export sector and enhancing its global competitiveness.
Earlier, in his welcome address, Bhai Saleem Aman Ullah, former Chairman of the Pakistan Tea Association, along with other representatives, lauded Chief Collector Muhammad Sadiq for his proactive leadership, commitment to transparency, and efforts to create a conducive environment for trade growth. They noted that under his dynamic guidance, Customs operations had become more efficient, resulting in smoother export procedures and improved confidence among exporters.
The event was attended by DG Customs (Evaluation) Muhammad Mohsin Rafiq, Advisor to Federal Tax Ombudsman Dr. Waqar Ch. Arain, Collector Muhammad Javaid Ch., Collector Salman Afzal, Additional Cantonment Executive Officer Dr. Muhammad Rizwan, and leading exporters including Muhammad Altaf, Shahid Nadeem, Muhammad Ismail, Aman Paracha, Hafiz Abdul Qadir, Zeeshan Paracha, Muhammad Muqeet, Secretary General Zafar Jan, and Muhammad Ali.
Participants paid rich tributes to the Chief Collector’s professionalism, integrity, and tireless efforts to streamline export-related procedures and facilitate trade growth.
The gathering concluded with the presentation of souvenirs to Chief Collector Muhammad Sadiq and Collectors Muhammad Javaid Ch. and Salman Afzal, reaffirming the mutual commitment to advancing Pakistan’s economic and trade objectives.
