LAHORE, Jul 21 (APP):The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) on Monday introduced a simplified process for addressing complaints related to incorrect e-challans,allowing citizens to request corrections via email.
According to a PSCA spokesperson citizens who receive an incorrect traffic violation ticket can now file a complaint by sending an email to etclhr@psca.gop.pk.
The email should include a description of the issue and photographs of the e-challan in question.
The spokesperson said that once the authority verifies the complaint,the incorrect challan will be cancelled. E-challans were issued through an advanced artificial intelligence system,which minimizes the likelihood of errors but the new procedure has been put in place to quickly resolve any that may occur.
“The correction process has been made more accessible to ensure prompt redressal of grievances,” the spokesperson said.
