RAHIM YAR KHAN, Jun 16 (APP):The Saddar Khan Pur police on Monday killed a wanted robber in exchange of fire with armed dacoits, the police spokesman said.
He said that a police tried to stop suspect motorcycle riders at a check post and they opened firing on the police.
In retaliation, a dacoit identified as Zafar Chongali was killed, he added.
The spokesman said the dacoit was a proclaimed offender, adding the police recovered a gun from his possession.
District Police Officer (DPO), Irfan Ali Sammo appreciated the quick response of the police, he added.
