RAWALPINDI, Dec 31 (APP):A delegation of probationary officers from the Civil Services Academy in Lahore visited the headquarters of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) in Rawalpindi on Wednesday as part of the 53rd Common Training Programme (CTP), the force said.
The 15-member delegation was given a detailed briefing by Director Enforcement Brigadier Syed Imran Ali, who outlined the ANF’s organisational structure, its role in combating drug trafficking and abuse, and key achievements during the current year. He also highlighted the force’s ongoing operational campaigns, public awareness initiatives and cooperation with national and international stakeholders.

The officers were informed about ANF’s special counter-narcotics campaign being conducted in educational institutions aimed at promoting anti-drug awareness among students, faculty and administrative staff, while also engaging parents and the wider community to safeguard youth.
At the conclusion of the visit, Director General ANF Major General Abdul Moeed, HI(M), held an interactive session with the participants, responding to their questions and underscoring the importance of coordinated efforts to achieve a drug-free society.

He expressed the hope that such visits would help enhance the professional capacity of probationary officers. The delegation commended the ANF for its professionalism, dedication and continued contribution to national security and the protection of young people.
