Prison walls have mentally paralyzed PTI founder: Azma Bokhari

LAHORE, Oct 16 (APP): Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari has said that the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) acted as both a “Tyrant and Pharaoh” during his tenure, and today, the walls of prison have mentally paralyzed him.
In a statement issued here on Thursday, she remarked that the PTI founder is now urging his workers to support the same religious party he once labeled as terrorist and extremist — a move that clearly reflects his U-turns and double standards.
Azma Bokhari said it was ironic that, after his so-called “final call” was rejected by the people of Pakistan, he dares to issue yet another call for protest. “Every Pakistani is now compelled to think that the PTI and TLP agendas are essentially the same,” she added.
She further stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where PTI is currently in power, has turned into a hub of terrorism, mismanagement, and corruption. Instead of addressing law and order issues, the provincial government is focused on creating political chaos to cover up its failures.
The Information Minister stressed that PTI’s policies have never aimed to provide relief to the public but have consistently sought to spread disorder and instability across the country. “Their past and present repeatedly prove this fact,” Azma Bokhari asserted.
