PESHAWAR, May 30 (APP):A fifth-grade student at a private school in Jamrud, Khyber district died after being allegedly beaten by the school principal.
The incident took place during the morning assembly over a minor issue.
The student was seriously injured and taken to the hospital but could not survive.
Police took quick action and arrested the principal, Waqar Ahmed, within an hour. A case has been registered, and further investigation is ongoing.
