The Gaddafi Stadium is undergoing a dramatic transformation to host this thrilling contest, with Deputy Commissioner Lahore Syed Musa Raza personally overseeing every aspect of the arrangements. Assistant Commissioner Model Town Sahibzada Yousaf conducted a thorough inspection of the stadium, scrutinising the ongoing works. He issued directives to relevant authorities to ensure the completion of lighting installations by 2 February, a deadline being treated with utmost urgency. Whispers of enhanced security measures are circulating, suggesting an unprecedented level of vigilance to preempt any untoward incidents.
DC Syed Musa Raza has made it clear that this series is more than just a sporting event; it’s a showcase of Pakistan’s hospitality and capabilities. He has vowed to provide cricket enthusiasts with an unforgettable experience, emphasising that security is paramount and that robust, comprehensive measures are in place. Directives have been issued to the Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) to ensure the prompt removal of all debris and waste from the stadium and its surrounding areas upon completion of construction work.
