SARGODHA, Nov 25 (APP):Commissioner Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) Rai Naheed Ahmed on Tuesday sealed New Sargodha City Jhaal Chakian Khushab road for continuous violations of the Punjab Sales Tax Act, 2012.
According to the PRA DO Faiz Ahmed here, the department has launched a grand operation against institutions and housing societies failing to pay sales tax.
A detailed report of the operation has been submitted to the higher authorities.
He urged all defaulters, particularly those who have already received tax payment notices from the authority, to clear their outstanding dues within the stipulated period. “Failure to comply will result in strict departmental action under the provisions of the Punjab Sales Tax Act, 2012”, the commissioner added.
