LAHORE, Oct 16 (APP): The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Central Punjab will commemorate the 18th anniversary of the Karsaz tragedy on Saturday.
According to the party sources on Thursday, prayer ceremonies and candlelight vigils will be organized in the provincial capital and 26 districts of Punjab.
General Secretary PPP Central Punjab Syed Hassan Murtaza has instructed all divisional and district organizations, sub-wings, and ticket holders to pay rich tributes to the martyrs of the Karsaz tragedy in a dignified and memorable manner.
In Lahore, a special prayer ceremony will be held at the Peoples Secretariat, Model Town, under the auspices of the Lahore chapter of PPP. The event will conclude with the lighting of candles in remembrance of the martyrs.
