PPP to continue raising voice for people’s rights: Sardar Saleem Haider

LAHORE, Jan 05 (APP):Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has said that the PPP will continue to raise its voice for the rights of the people.
Speaking at Open Court in Rawalpindi on Monday, he said democracy gives voice to people, adding that the PPP leadership has endured hardships of imprisonment for democracy.
Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that Pakistan People’s Party is the only party that strive for the welfare and rights of people.
“PPP will fully participate in the local government (LG) elections in Punjab,” adding that PPP has revived its roots throughout Punjab.
Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that instructions have been given to the workers and leaders of the PPP to speed up the public contact campaign.
The Governor Punjab said that the PPP will participate fully in the local body elections to be held in the province.
He said that the Governor House Lahore has been converted into the People’s Governor House. He further said that the PPP is a party of martyrs who made the most sacrifices for the country and endured the hardships of imprisonment.
