PPP Sindh MPA calls on Governor KP

PESHAWAR, Jul 18 (APP): Asif Khan, Member of Provincial Assembly Sindh, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Thursday called on Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi at Governor House and discussed various problems of the province.

During the meeting, Asif Khan, commended the role of Governor Faisal Kundi, acknowledging him as a sincere and dedicated person to represent the province. He praised the Governor’s efforts in addressing provincial issues effectively.

Governor Faisal Karim Kundi highlighted the historical and cultural significance of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, emphasizing its rich natural resources.

He expressed his commitment to alleviating poverty in the province through sustainable development initiatives harnessing its natural wealth.

The Governor said that efforts related to youth engagement, women empowerment, education, and healthcare were also underway.

He said that plans for establishing a task force to address educational and healthcare challenges in the province were included in priorities.

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of mutual commitment towards advancing the socio-economic development agenda in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reflecting a collaborative approach between provincial leadership and stakeholders.

This interaction underscores ongoing efforts by political leaders to address regional issues and foster development.

Meanwhile, the Governor prayed for the early recovery of senior journalist and former president Peshawar Press Club Shamim Shahid. He sent a bouquet to him and praised Shahid’s services in journalism.
