KARACHI, Dec 09 (APP):Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) bagged second position at the 40th Corporate Excellence Awards organized by Management Association of Pakistan (MAP) in Karachi. The company received the recognition amongst the Oil and Gas Exploration sector in the industrial category.
Sindh Minister for Labour, Human Resources and Social Protection, Saeed Ghani presented the award to PPL, said a news release on Tuesday.
Being a prestigious award, it recognizes and honors companies demonstrating outstanding performance and enlightened management practices. There were three broad categories of Awards; Industrial, Financial and Not-For-Profit. Companies are assessed in four phases; Screening Dividend Payment, Detailed Financial Evaluation, Appraisal of Management Practices and Top Management Interviews.
The recognition underscores PPL’s strong performance and sustained demonstration of excellence in corporate management within business landscape. This accolade reinforces PPL’s long-standing commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and high-quality standards.
