GUJRAT, Nov 05 (APP): Police busted a two-member gang involved in several theft incidents and recovered stolen goods worth over Rs1.25 million.
According to a police spokesperson, on the direction of District Police Officer (DPO) Gujrat Rana Umar Farooq, a special operation is being carried out across the district against thieves and robbers.
Under the supervision of DSP Sadar Circle Ghazi Asif Ali, SHO Kunjah Police Station Inspector Hassan Zubair, along with his team, busted the gang. Recovered items include gold ornaments, a loader rickshaw, a fodder-cutting machine, and Rs22,500 in cash.
The suspects were identified as Bilal Ahmad, alias Balu, son of Murad Ahmad, and Muhammad Akhtar, son of Muhammad Akram, both residents of Dharowal. A case has been registered for further investigation.
