Dera Ismail Khan , Feb 21 (APP):Police in Paharpur circle have recovered five snatched motorcycles and arrested two accused during a successful crackdown against street crime.
According to police sources, DSP Paharpur Circle Hafiz Muhammad Adnan, along with SHO Paharpur Cadet Zafar Abbas, led targeted operations in various areas of the circle, resulting in the recovery of five motorcycles that had previously been snatched from citizens.
The arrested suspects were taken into custody and further investigation was underway, police said. The recovered motorcycles were later handed over to their respective owners.
Speaking on the occasion, DSP Hafiz Muhammad Adnan said that protection of life and property of the citizens of Paharpur was the police’s foremost priority. He added that special teams had been tasked to trace cases that occurred before his posting and operations against criminal elements would continue without discrimination.
He reaffirmed that strict action would be taken against all kinds of criminals and expressed the resolve that police, in collaboration with the public, would make Paharpur a peaceful area.
Meanwhile, the owners of the recovered motorcycles appreciated the performance of SP Paharpur Circle Iqbal Khan Baloch, DSP Hafiz Muhammad Adnan and SHO Cadet Zafar Abbas, and lauded the police for their timely action and recovery of stolen property.
