LAHORE, Dec 27 (APP): Punjab Police Constables and Head Constables have achieved remarkable success under the P-Cadet Scheme, earning promotion to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) following the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) examination.
A spokesperson for Punjab Police said that among those promoted, 297 officers belong to Lahore, 111 from Sheikhupura Region, 87 from Multan Region, 86 from Dera Ghazi Khan Region, and 31 from Sahiwal Region.
The spokesperson added that in Lahore, 297 out of 299 seats were successfully filled; in Sheikhupura Region, 111 out of 112 seats were secured; in Multan, all 87 candidates passed; in Dera Ghazi Khan, 86 out of 87 succeeded; and in Sahiwal, all 31 candidates achieved success.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated the promoted officers and extended his best wishes for their future. He said that the outstanding performance of Punjab Police officers in the PPSC examination reflects the professional competence, dedication, and hard work of the force. He directed the promoted officers to carry out their duties with selfless service to citizens and to ensure the fearless protection of Pakistan.
