RAWALPINDI, Aug 12 (APP):Police have arrested eight illegal arm holders and recovered arms, ammunition from their possession during crackdown here on Monday.
According to police spokesman, Chakri police held Akhlaq and recovered 7mm rifle from his possession and a 12-bore rifle was found from Faizan while 01 pistol 30 bore was recovered from Usama.
Similarly, Mandra police apprehended two illegal arm holders Shan and Haider and recovered 02 pistols 30-bore from their custody.
Following operation, Naseerabad police confiscated 01 pistol 30-bore pistol from Abdullah.
Race Course police seized another 01 pistol 30-bore from Mubasher.
Additionally, Saddar Wah police also recovered 01 pistol 30 bore from Israr.
Police have registered separate cases against all the accused and further investigation was in progress.
Divisional SPs commended police teams and said that crackdown against illegal arms will continue without discrimination.
