SUKKUR, Jul 15 (APP):The Divisional Commissioner Sukkur, Fayaz Hussain Abbasi on Monday visited Khairpur to review the arrangements for 9th & 19th Muharram-ul-Haram.
He was accompanied by DIG Sukkur, Peer Muhammad Shah, and Shahbaz Rangers Colonel Omar.
During the visit, Deputy Commissioner Khairpur, Syed Fawad Hussain Shah, and SSP Khairpur Zubair Nazir Shaikh were briefed on the security arrangements in the district.
The Divisional Commissioner Sukkur inspected the procession routes in the city, assessing the security measures, sanitation, lighting, and medical facilities. He also visited medical camps established in different parts of the city, inquiring about the availability of first-aid facilities and ambulance services.
The Divisional Commissioner further visited the Police Control Room and evaluated the performance of the CCTV cameras installed across the city.
On the occasion, he said that stringent security arrangements have been ensured in the Sukkur Division, with police and other law enforcement agencies remaining vigilant.
