HYDERABAD, Dec 01 (APP): Qazi Ahmed Police arrested an alleged dacoit in an injured condition following an encounter during operation against criminal elements.
According to police spokesperson, the arrested suspect, identified as Jamshed Channesar, was wanted in several serious criminal cases.
Police recovered a 30-bore pistol, a magazine and rounds from his possession.
During initial interrogation, the suspect confessed to committing five crimes in Nawabshah over the past six days.
He admitted snatching three motorcycles and stealing two others within the same period.
Later the injured suspect was shifted to the hospital for medical treatment. SSP Shaheed Benazirabad Shabbir Ahmed Sethar appreciated the police team for bravery, stating that maintaining law and order in the area is the top priority and that no leniency would be shown to criminal elements.
