RAWALPINDI, Feb 24 (APP): Police have arrested two step sons accused of killing their stepfather in a shooting last month, police spokesperson said on Tuesday.
The Cantt police detained the suspects after they went into hiding following the attack.
According to investigators, the suspects were aggrieved by their mother’s remarriage and allegedly shot their stepfather dead before fleeing the area.
Police said the arrests were made using a technical surveillance and human intelligence.
SP Potohar Sardar Babar Mumtaz Khan said the suspects would be produced before a court with “solid evidence” to ensure punishment under the law.
He further added that further legal proceedings were under way.
