Police arrest seven for possessing illegal weapons

RAWALPINDI, Oct 25 (APP):Rawalpindi district police on the directives of Senior Superintendent of Police, Operations Rawalpindi conducted raids in different areas and netted seven accused for possessing seven pistols 30 bore, ammunition and other items.
According to a police spokesman, Wah Cantt, Naseerabad, Waris Khan and Pirwadhai police conducted raids and arrested Jan Muhammad, Zahir Khan, Saddam Hussain, Umar Khalid, Bilal, Aqeel and Waqar Ali and recovered seven pistols of 30 bore, ammunition and other items.
The SSP said that strict action in accordance with the law was being taken against the lawbreakers and operations against aerial firing and illegal weapon holders would continue.
