WAH CANTT , Jan 27 (APP):The police arrested a proclaimed offender accused of killing a citizen over an old enmity, the police officials said on Tuesday .
According to police, the suspect, along with his accomplices, had opened fire on the victim, killing him on the spot before fleeing the scene.
The accused had been on the run and wanted by the police since December 2025, they added.
The Police said the arrest was made following a targeted operation in which both technical surveillance and human intelligence were effectively used to trace the suspect’s whereabouts.
After sustained efforts, the proclaimed offender was taken into custody, they added.
The accused has been shifted to police custody for further investigation, while efforts are underway to arrest his other accomplices involved in the crime.
